Aims & Objectives
With the growth of information technology in
modern times, media art penetrates into our
everyday life through a variety of means and channels.
To cultivate a new generation of media artists of
deep insight, the programme, on top of professional
production techniques and artistic skills, particularly
addresses the significance of illuminating individual
creative conception. We anticipate that students, in
pursuit of knowledge, would make different attempts,
would explore innovative techniques throughout
their learning and practicing process, and would bring
together theory and concept in the context of media
culture and digital technology.
Programme Structure
The programme consists of 78 credit units. Generic skills and theoretical studies mainly contribute towards the foundation modules of the programme. Depending on individual talents and interest, students can choose from the three major streams stemmed from the programme, namely, Computer Animation, Digital Video & Cinema and Multimedia Art. The progrmame offers students an all-rounded creative realm, which helps enrich students’ experience along their professional development and helps enhance students’ overall competitive awareness. |
