Application
1. To apply for Award-bearing Programme, please complete the Award-bearing Programme Application Form (Form No.: HKAS002).

Application forms can be obtained by the following ways:

 
In person from Hong Kong Art School Learning Centre, 17M/F, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen's Road East, Wanchai, Hong Kong.
By post to the above address (please enclose a self-addressed envelop with postage stamp to the value of HK$1.4)
Through Hong Kong Art School website www.hkas.edu.hk

Please make sure you meet the entry requirements of the programme you are applying for.

For Award-bearing Programmes, a non-refundable application fee of HK$200 will be levied.

5. Please submit the completed application form together with relevant supporting documents, application fee and / or course fees as appropriate via one of the following ways:

Admission Procedure

For Foundation / Higher Diploma programmes:
   
1. Admission will be granted to applicants who have successfully undergone admission interview and portfolio presentation. Applicants are required to meet the entry requirements as specified in the respective programme descriptions.
   
2. Admission Result Announcement: within 1 week after the interview
  Deposit Payment: within 1 week after receiving the offer letter
   
3. Successful candidate should pay the first instalment of tuition fee (after deducting the deposit), registration fee (HK$300) and Student Union and Alumni Association membership fee (HK$100) in August 2007. Please refer to the admission notice for the payment deadline of particular programmes.
   
4. Deposit, tuition fee, registration fee, Student Union and Alumni Association membership fee and place of programme are non-transferable.
   
5. Hong Kong Art School reserves the right to accept or reject an application.
   
For other Award-bearing programmes:
   
1. You will be informed of the selection arrangements and result as soon as possible after the closing date of application.

Payment Method
1.

Paid by Cash, Crossed Cheque or Bank Draft

 

By cash
Only applicable to enrolment make in person. Please DO NOT SEND CASH BY POST. Hong Kong Art School will not be responsible for any loss of payment sent by mail.

By crossed cheque / bank draft
Please make cheque / bank draft payable to the "Hong Kong Arts Centre" and put down the applicant's name and course code on the back of the cheque / bank draft. Post-dated cheque will not be accepted.

Receipts will be issued for fees paid but Hong Kong Art School will not be responsible for any loss of receipt sent by mail. If students request Hong Kong Art School to re-issue or issue an additional copy of receipt, an administrative charge of HK$50 will be levied for each copy.

Course Cancellation and Refund
1. Fees paid are not refundable except as statutorily provided or under very exceptional circumstances.
2. Fees and places on courses cannot be transferred from one applicant to another.
3.

Hong Kong Art School reserves the rights to cancel any course and applicants / students who have enrolled will be notified and refunded in full. All refunds will be issued within one month by mail to the last known address shown in the application form.
