This site provides assistance for Hong Kong artists to seek information on international artists in residency programs. Thanks to the support from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and Hong Kong Art School, we will be able to provide a web-site that provides an additional channel for the further development of our artists. Artists in residency projects are important learning opportunity for practicing artists. They engage artists in active dialogues with artists from different social and cultural background and relocate them in different cultural settings that are challenging as well as stimulating. Such social and cultural interactions are essential for nurturing the creative mind and expanding artistic vocabularies. I hope the art community would find this web-site useful, and thanks to Anthony Leung Po-shan, Zoe Shek, Carmen Lau and Ah Hong who worked so hard to put this site together.
