Hong Kong Art School Information Session (16 May 2024)

The two programme seminars are now open to all who hope to begin fine art study journey with major studio practice or further develop their art learning with an in-depth focus on major studio practice. The seminars will cover the programme structure, features, admission requirements and progression pathways of Higher Diploma in Fine Art (HDFA) and Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) (BAFA) respectively. Exhibition Statement Unpacking is a group exhibition featuring artworks by Melbourne-based artists Judy Kong, Kelly So, Cheryl Liu and Wise Yeung. The multimedia exhibition showcases video installation, sculpture and ceramics. This introspective exhibition reflects on the migrating identity of Hong Kongers living in Australia. Exhibition Statement ‘The Dialogue Bands’ exhibition is now on show at Youth Square in Chai Wan. The paintings on display are created by students from the Hong Kong Art School and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia. Based upon a single piece of strip, the students embarked on a seemingly challenging art-making journey. Exhibition Statement The exhibition “Digital Shape of Ceramics” features works from sixteen alumni and teaching staff of Hong Kong Art School, including five ceramicists and eleven students, who recently participated in the short course "Experimental 3D Clay Printing".
