Hong Kong Art School (HKAS), founded in 2000, is a division of the Hong Kong Arts Centre (HKAC). HKAS is an accredited institute staffed by a group of dedicated artists, who are active and distinguished practitioners in the field.  The focus of HKAS award-bearing curriculum lies in four core academic areas, namely, Fine Art, Applied Art, Media Art and Applied Theatre & Drama Education, and its scope covers programmes with academic levels ranging from Higher Diploma, Professional Diploma, Bachelor Degree to Master Degree.  The short courses and the outreach projects of the School that run parallel to the award-bearing curriculum span an even wider variety of artistic disciplines, and they genuinely bridge art and the community.

The School now invites candidates for the following position:

Senior Administrative Officer / Administrative Officer (Communication & Development) (Ref: SAOCD / AOCD)

Job Duties:

  • To work closely with digital marketing agency / design house / printing house for online and offline promotion coordination
  • To monitor and co-ordinate the production of the School's publications and marketing collaterals, including related writing and editorial support
  • To take care of student's recruitment campaign and marketing activities including programme seminars / Education Expo etc.
  • To monitor the content management of all online channels / social media platforms including the School's website, FB and IG.
  • To assist in school events and carry out other ad-hoc duties as assigned
  • With work location mainly at the School's Chai Wan Campus (at Youth Square).


  • Degree holder, majoring in Visual Culture / Marketing / Communication or relevant disciplines.
  • With 3-5 years working experience in art, tertiary education sector, with digital marketing and graphic design knowledge is preferred
  • Passion in art education with basic knowledge of local tertiary education system.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Chinese.
  • Proficient / Knowledge in Adobe or Design applications such as Photoshop and AI, HTML, and CMS (Content Management System) is a plus.
  • Good team player with pleasant and out-going personality.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, independent and have strong sense of responsibility
  • Immediate available preferred


The appointment is on one-year term, and is to be renewed subject to mutual agreements and operational needs.
