“Chan Kwan Biu Memorial Foundation” Art Futures — Hong Kong Prize 2023 aims to support and recognise the outstanding young artists in Hong Kong who have recently graduated.

Lau Jin-ki, who completed the Bachelor of Arts programme co-presented by the Hong Kong Art School and RMIT University this year, has successfully stood out among numerous international graduates. This achievement serves as a full affirmation of the Hong Kong Art School’s professional education and training.

Cleo was selected among the graduates from Asia’s finest art institutions to receive the Second Prize of the Art Futures Awards – Outstanding Graduates Awards. She is the sole Hong Kong graduate among the six finalists. Cleo graduated this year with a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art), co-presented by Hong Kong Art School and RMIT University, Australia. As a part of the prize, Cleo’s graduation work – Chronicles of Distortion, will be on display at the AVA Gallery from 21 Dec 2023 to 14 Jan 2024. Established in 2022, the Art Futures – Outstanding Graduates Awards is the first international art award of its kind in Asia dedicated to championing the creative practices of outstanding recent graduates in the field of visual arts and associated contemporary art practices.
