Mr. PAK Tak Wan, Christopher (白得雲)
Head of Academic Studies in Music, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts
Pak Tak Wan, Christopher is currently Head of Academic Studies in Music at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and Chairman of the Teaching and Learning Committee of the School of Music. He had been appointed as guest lecturer at the University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Baptist University and the Hong Kong Institute of Education, and member of the Committee on Arts Education of the Hong Kong Curriculum Development Council. He is currently Chairman of the Music Art Form Panel and member of the Programme and Development Committee of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, and Vice Chairman of the Windpipe Chinese Music Ensemble. He has been frequently invited to give lectures and conduct workshops for the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, City University of Hong Kong, Music Office, Radio Television Hong Kong, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Education Bureau, the Hong Kong Philharmonic, the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra and Macao International Music Festival, including several series of the radio programmes Music from China and Songs of the Earth for RTHK Radio 4. He received a commendation from the Secretary for Home Affairs of the HKSAR Government in 2014.
