Hong Kong Art School Showcase Series @ Jockey Club Atrium
This series consisted of two showcases, which were curated by Subject Coordinators / Lecturers of Hong Kong Art School with specialization correspondingly in the following four major disciplines: Ceramics, Painting, Photography and Sculpture.
The Jockey Club Atrium might be a challenging space for showcasing artworks, however it was exactly this challenge that ignites the interest of the curators. Alumni and students of Hong Kong Art School were invited to make use of this space with their creative thoughts and touches, turning it into a showcasing area full of experimental and inspiring discoveries.

Showcase Statement – “Traces of Daily Life”
Four artists, working on ceramics and painting, associated and reshaped the state of everyday things in the context of daily life. By the process of recording and accumulating, they were willing to show their “traces of daily life” through medium and materials.
