COURSE FEATURES
The course will discuss in depth the various techniques, colour theory and different material applications of oil painting. Through studying, live painting and learning masters’ works to improving students’ knowledge and skills in painting. Participants are required to have basic skills and knowledge on oil painting.
* Students will be informed of the materials needed in the first lesson.

TUTOR
Phillip HUI
Phillip HUI was born in Hong Kong. He finished the Diploma of Art from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London in 2007, and attained a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art degree from the RMIT University in 2011 (programme co-presented with Hong Kong Art School). Phillip uses oil painting and sketching as his main creative mediums, his works contain elements from both Eastern and Western classical art. He creates his art with allegorical ideas and fictional scenes to express human nature and different encounters in real life. Phillip also tries to explore the relationship and coexistence between people and the environment.
