COURSE FEATURES
In the first half of the course, the tutor will teach the ways of using natural materials to produce and create colours for art making, also will teach related art and craft techniques. In the second half, the tutor will guide the participants to create mixed media artwork by using the technique which have taught in the course. It includes soil paint making, plant monotype dye, plant pigment fabric dye and charcoal ink etc.

HAO Lap Yan Benjamin
Benjamin HAO was born and is based in Hong Kong. He was graduated from Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) (co-presented by RMIT and Hong Kong Art School). He was awarded MFA Interdisciplinary Art Studies by University of Hartford in 2018. His art practice examines the relationship among human being, nature and society, and his artworks stimulate reflection and new imagination. His works and projects have been exhibited and taken place in Hong Kong, China, Macedonia, Iceland and U.S.A.
