To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong Art School (HKAS) and our 15th participation in Fine Art Asia (FAA) as an education partner, we are proud to launch our first-ever open call for the 2025 edition of Asia’s premier international art fair. This milestone year presents a unique opportunity for our alumni and current students to showcase their work—whether in ceramics, painting, sculpture, or photography—to a global audience of collectors, curators, and art lovers.
This year, the School’s booth spotlights artistic voices that reflect the creative strength nurtured at HKAS. Through this open call, we invite submissions that not only embody the essence of studying at HKAS, but also highlight each artist’s personal journey and professional accomplishments beyond our school campuses.
Eligibility
- All current students and alumni of HKAS’ award-bearing programmes are eligible to apply for the Open Call.
- Each Applicant may propose up to 8 pieces/sets/series of artworks.
Participant Profit Share
- All the exhibited artworks will be sold on a consignment basis in the Art Fair.
- The proceeds from consignment will be distributed equally between the Participant and the Organiser, with each receiving 50%.

- Application Deadline: 3 Aug 2025, 11:59pm
- Fee: No display fee
- Required Materials: Applicant’s information, artwork information (including title, artwork description, medium, dimension, year and price), artwork image

Selection Process
- The Open Call has a jury panel that can accept or reject any application and has the final decision-making authority.
- If the applicant’s artwork is selected and becomes a participant in the FAA, will receive an email notification in late August 2025.
- Applicants are responsible for the arrangement of logistics, set-up, dismantle, and collection of unsold artworks strictly according to the specified dates and times.
- Participants’ artworks will be publicly exhibited and may be purchased or collected by art enthusiasts. The sales proceeds will be split equally between the participants and the Hong Kong Art School.
