COURSE FEATURES
This course focuses on visual arts and teaches how to understand and appreciate art. Through the analysis of specific works, it cultivates students’ aesthetic and appreciation.

Lesson 1: Explaining what art is, including theories of representation, expression, formalism, and other theories.
Lesson 2: Explaining what beauty is and analyzing different types of beauty.
Lesson 3: Formal analysis, including elements such as composition, proportion, light and shadow, color, balance, and perspective.
Lesson 4: Content analysis, involving topics, meaning, symbolism, and cultural connotations.
Lesson 5: Appreciation and evaluation, discussing different evaluation criteria.
Lesson 6: The value of art, exploring the importance of art to humanity.
