The Dialogue Bands

Exhibition Statement The Dialogue Bands is a collaborative drawing project between students and lecturers of Hong Kong Art School and RMIT School of Art (Melbourne). It synthesized a connection around approaches to thinking through making, exploring ideas, and investigating cultural themes. 20 students from Hong Kong paired with 20 students from Melbourne contributed a part each, to a composite drawing based upon a shared image prompt. Description This satellite exhibition aims to showcase the process of exploring the combination of 3D printing and ceramics. Three-dimensional printing can be independently used as a method of ceramics making, helping ceramicists break through past limitations to create fine mesh structures or print virtual models into physical forms. Digital Shape of Ceramics — Exhibition at The Gallery of Hong Kong Art School

Exhibition Statement The exhibition “Digital Shape of Ceramics” features works from sixteen alumni and teaching staff of Hong Kong Art School, including five ceramicists and eleven students, who recently participated in the short course "Experimental 3D Clay Printing".
